Guayaquil Historic Park:
This park is located 10 minutes away from Guayaquil, on La Puntilla zone; it covers 8 Ha of mangrove surrounded by wetlands and forests. Besides the landscape you will see local fauna in semi-captivity. In Guayaquil, you will be able to see its original architecture, destroyed by fires and earthquakes, represented in the oldest urban architecture zone. During the weekends this neighborhood offers cultural activities, music and gastronomic festivals, guided visits, and more! Open from Tuesday through Sunday. Entrance $3.00 for adults.
Guayaquil Botanic Garden:
The Garden is located on Cerro Colorado (Urbanización Las Orquideas, Ave. Fco. De Orellana), north of Guayaquil. It has 3 000 species and is also an excellent site for bird and butterfly watching.
